The game is part of Erste Bank's financial education program. We want our youngest to learn important things about money through play: the effort it takes to buy something, how much something is worth and whether we really need it, how hard we have to work to achieve our goals, and that learning, knowledge and reflection play a big role in how successful we will be.
Although it is primarily intended for children aged 7 to 10, with a little help from parents, younger people can also play it, and we believe that it will be interesting for the older ones as well. Strict care is taken to ensure that the content is age-appropriate, encourages the desire for knowledge and promotes knowledge as one of the key values. The game does not contain advertising messages and is not related to Erste Bank products and services.
Teachers, psychologists and parents mostly participated in its creation, and the bankers added their financial knowledge and put everything together. With all this in mind, the content is customized and safe for children, and the time that children can spend playing the game continuously is limited. Also, there is no possibility to buy additional functionalities with real money within the game (there are no "In-app purchases").
There is a tutorial that explains different aspects of the game and gives guidelines and we suggest you take a look at it, and you can also play a few games and judge for yourself. The game is based on the book of the same name "Guardians of the Dragon's Treasure" published by the Creative Center from Belgrade, with the support of Erste Bank. The illustrator of the game is the maestro Dobrosav Bob Živković, whose drawings inspire all ages equally!
